Crooked Fingers
I found Crooked Fingers when I was browsing the artist roster at Merge Records (label of i.e. Camera Obscura) and fell immediately in love with their rocky blend of male and female vocals.
Crooked Fingers was formed by Eric Bachmann (former member of Archers of Loaf) The first release of the band was a the selftitled album, soon followed by "Bring On The Snakes", which brought him some attention. Not much later Crooked Fingers signed to Merge Records, who released his "Reservoir Songs EP" (filled with covers) "Red Devil Dawn" followed in 2003, first full-length on Merge. "Dignity and Shame" was released in 2005, a concept album based around the lives of bullfighter Manolete and Lope Sino, a Spanish actress.
